The Craft Barn's alpha dictionary challenge this month is the letter 'X'. Well it had to come round at some point, I suppose! I'd initially thought I'd do Xmas, but I never ever write Xmas on cards, as I really don't like the contraction, so I thought I'd try a little harder and up popped Xerox!
I found a small stamp of a jam jar of brushes - I think it was a free gift on the front of a magazine - and stamped it a number of times. One of them was deliberately stamped off the page and crinkled - in recognition of the problems I always come across with printers and copier!
I hope you like my tag!
Have fun!
Anne
Brilliant! I love the quirky misprint, after all I'm sure that's what we all associate with photocopying!
ReplyDeleteAh, what a clever choice and a great way to illustrate the word. I have that little JOFY stamp from the magazine too, I've used it quite a lot.
ReplyDeleteYes that stamp is in my album too!!! Great choice and love the way you have depicted the letter
ReplyDeleteLOL love the screwed up copy, it rings so true.
ReplyDeleteYou were early visiting me, and here I am later than late visiting you. This is so clever, the way you depicted the Xerox. Like others, I love how you made one look like it had been caught in the copier, something most of us who have used them have encountered before. This is truly a fun, fun look at the Xerox copier process.
ReplyDeleteBrought back so many memories of the copier going awol just when it was most needed! Thank you for joining in the Craft Barn Alpha challenge xxx
ReplyDeleteThe off-the-page and crinkled picture made me laugh! A great tag and choice of word.
